Job Summary

Position Summary

We’re looking for a AV Project Manager to lead audiovisual (AV) integration projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll serve as the main point of contact for customers and internal teams, guiding projects through planning, execution, commissioning, and close-out.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning projects, staying organized, and working closely with technical teams and clients. You’ll manage schedules, resources, budgets, and communication to keep projects on track and customers informed.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage multiple audiovisual (AV)/IT projects from kickoff through close-out

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers and internal teams

  • Support project handoff, site surveys, and planning with estimating and engineering teams

  • Build and manage project schedules and execution plans

  • Coordinate installers, engineers, programmers, vendors, and subcontractors

  • Assign responsibilities and track progress to keep projects on schedule

  • Monitor budgets, labor, materials, and overall project performance

  • Identify risks early and drive practical solutions

  • Maintain project documentation (meeting notes, RFIs, schedules, change orders, logs, close-out packages)

  • Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery

  • Support system testing, punch-list tracking, and commissioning

  • Ensure customer training and project handoff are completed

  • Maintain accurate record-set documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree or higher required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2+ years of project management experience in AV, IT, construction technology, low-voltage, or related fields

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working with customers and technical teams

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Windows, and project management tools

  • Experience reading scopes, schedules, drawings, and technical documentation

  • Willingness to travel to job sites, including occasional overnight stays

  • Flexibility to support varied project schedules

Certifications:

  • Ability to obtain AVIXA CTS within one year

  • Ability to obtain PMP within one year

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work in offices, customer sites, and construction environments

  • Ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, and access equipment locations

  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry materials

  • Comfortable working in variable indoor and outdoor conditions
