Position Summary:

The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for developing a strategic approach to corporate procurement, demand planning, and inventory management. This role has enterprise-wide responsibilities. In this leadership role, the successful candidate will direct the procurement of inventory; assist team members and colleagues with supply chain processes and execution; develop and/or update policies and procedures; and optimize a centralized supply chain program that adds value and efficiency. While this role offers some flexibility for remote work, up to 4 days is required in the corporate office

Primary Duties:

  • Develop and communicate a supply chain business plan. Implement long-term goals for the department to promote effectiveness and efficiency
  • Serve as primary contact for questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment for all departments related to procurement, demand planning and inventory
  • Oversee contract development for vendors
  • Manage current policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency
  • Identify and streamline processes that generates cost savings
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or ten (10) years plus of equivalent experience
  • Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills required
  • Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Use of MS Office with a willingness to learn new programs
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, in accordance with company guidelines

  • Work is generally completed in an office environment. Frequent sitting, computer work and phone use are required, with occasional walking, standing, bending and lifting up to 20 pounds

Salary: $150k-$180k plus incentive
