About the Role

 

Atlas International Transportation is seeking a Temporary Transportation Support Assistant to provide general operational support during the summer months. This role assists the transportation team with daytoday administrative and coordination activities and is a good fit for students or individuals interested in gaining shortterm exposure to logistics and transportation operations.

 

What You'll Do

  • Provide general support to the transportation and pricing team
  • Assist with reviewing and organizing transportationrelated information and documentation
  • Support system updates and data entry related to shipments and transportation activity
  • Help ensure information is accurate and properly documented
  • Communicate with internal team members to support daily transportation operations
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed during the summer period

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: temporary, hourly
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

  • This is a temporary summer help position, not a formal internship
  • Prior transportation or logistics experience is not required

  • Interest in logistics, transportation, business, or related areas
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and comfort working with internal systems
  • Ability to follow established processes and instructions
  • Dependable and available for temporary summer work
