The role involves a blend of fieldwork and office-based tasks. In the field, the individual conducts regular site visits to capture continually evolving infrastructure data using a variety of collection methods. In the office, they process, organize, and update this information within the university’s GIS systems.In addition, this position assists with the university’s compliance obligations related to the state’s KY811 program. Responsibilities include reviewing and assigning incoming locate tickets from the state system, coordinating internal processing, and providing followup to ensure timely and accurate resolution.All major responsibilities, tools, and workflows will be taught on the job—no prior experience with the systems or processes is required.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesPreferred (but not required) familiarity with:
