Sitting for long periods, may also require standing for long periods. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Seasonal work will require being outdoors in hot or cold weather.
Shift
Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. May require evenings/weekends for research purposes.
Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment’s Department of Horticulture seeks a Research Analyst. The Research Analyst will provide direct support of the Extension Vegetable Specialist research and extension programs. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: conducting applied research on a range of vegetable crops, maintaining the lab, training and supervising undergraduate workers, assisting graduate students, and assisting with the organization of extension workshops and trainings.
