The RPA Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robotic process automation solutions with a focus on document processing using UiPath's Document Understanding framework. - Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and implement UiPath Document Understanding workflows, including OCR configuration, data extraction, and classification models.
- Integrate document processing solutions into broader RPA workflows to automate end-to-end business processes.
- Configure and optimize machine learning models within UiPath for enhanced data extraction accuracy.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, document-focused automation projects on schedule.
- Continuously refine and optimize existing automation workflows to improve performance and accuracy.
- Build and maintain integrations with databases, APIs, and other external systems to facilitate automated document processing.
- Implement data validation mechanisms, including the use of UiPath's Validation Station, to ensure high accuracy in data extraction.
- Design robust error handling and exception management within document processing workflows to manage unreadable text or misclassified documents.
- Create or update documentation, including architecture diagrams and design documents, to support development efforts and ensure team members can understand and leverage your work.
- Ensure that all automated processes comply with relevant data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in designing and delivering RPA solutions, particularly in document processing.
- Demonstrated proficiency with UiPath Document Understanding, including expertise in using the Taxonomy Manager, configuring OCR, and integrating machine learning models.
- Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath Studio and Orchestrator is essential, along with familiarity with programming languages like Python, VB.NET, or JavaScript.
- Experience in training and deploying machine learning models within UiPath AI Center, as well as knowledge of API integrations and database management (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills are necessary for troubleshooting and optimizing automation workflows, along with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and document solutions.
- An understanding of data security and compliance best practices related to document processing is also required.
- This role may require occasional travel to client sites or company offices to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

- The salary range of this position is $140,000 - $175,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
