Position Description
The Christina Woo Lab at Harvard University is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow with a strong background in chemical biology, proteomics, and organic chemistry. This position will focus on the development of chemical tools and strategies to investigate E3 ubiquitin ligase pathways and its regulation of endogenous substrates. This position requires external fellowship support.

The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team that applies a chemistry-first approach to explore mechanistic and functional aspects of protein regulation through post-translational modification. The lab is particularly interested in applicants who are eager to work at the intersection of chemistry and biology and are excited to develop and apply innovative approaches to complex biological questions.
Basic Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Chemical Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (completed at the time of hire).
  • Strong experience with chemical proteomics, organic synthesis, or protein modification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • External fellowship support

Salary Range
$67,600-$80,000. Pay offered to the selected candidate is dependent on factors such as years of experience, training or qualification, field of scholarship, and accomplishments in the field
