Job Summary
Serves as the primary support to executive level roles and/or departments and acts as liaison and ensures confidentiality of high-level, sensitive information. Manages office workflow. Assists with strategic planning processes and administrative goals and priorities. Prepares budgetary functions and plans special events.
Essential Functions
Supports the Chair of Epidemiology by managing complex scheduling, communications, and departmental coordination. Prepares meeting materials, minutes, presentations, and confidential correspondence. Assists with research activities including manuscript prep, citation management, and grant logistics. Coordinates fullcycle faculty recruitment, annual evaluations, and major departmental events. Manages speaker visits, travel, and event logistics. Maintains departmental website and newsletters. Requires strong organization, communication, discretion, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and reference tools; preferred experience in academic/research settings and web content management.
