Build Your Estimating Career on the Biggest Concrete Projects in the West

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction (RLW) has spent 50+ years building the bridges, highways, and massive concrete structures that define the western U.S. As part of the Sterling Infrastructure family, we offer the stability of a national builder with the tight-knit, high-energy feel of a regional team.

If you’re an up-and-coming estimator who’s hungry to learn, grow fast, and work on projects that actually matter — this is where your career takes off.

Why Junior Estimators Love RLW

  1. You grow fast — you’ll be trained by some of the top concrete estimators in the region, working on real bids from day one.
  2. You work on big, meaningful projects - from multi-level parking structures to massive concrete water tanks and complex wastewater treatment facilities that challenge you to grow.
  3. Your ideas actually matter — you’re not “just a junior.” You’re part of the bid team and your work impacts whether we win.
  4. Real career path — Junior Estimator ? Estimator ? Senior Estimator ? Preconstruction Leader.
  5. Tools, tech, and mentorship that help you master concrete estimating the right way.

This role is perfect for someone who’s motivated, curious, and ready to build a long-term career in preconstruction.

Bottom Line

If you’re hungry, motivated, and ready to learn concrete estimating from the ground up — RLW gives you the projects, training, and career trajectory you won’t find anywhere else.
